We begin with the island of United Kingdom slowly making our way to the others, covering some of the most intriguing UNESCO World Heritage sites.
England
With the Royal traditions and home of some of the early adopters of modern urban life, England continues to draw thousands of tourists every year. London, the capital, with its rich heritage and landmarks is the royal crown of the story.
Scotland
The land of Braveheart and the liqueur Scotch, the highlands of Scotland is as fascinating as it can get. Rugged landscapes to historic landmarks to the distilleries, this country can bring a lot of joy to the casual traveler.
Italy
From the citadels of the Roman empire to the picturesque Amalfi coast, Italy has hundreds of options for the casual tourist and history buffs alike. Home of numerous UNESCO World Heritage sites, we begin primarily by focusing on Rome but taking side trips to historic sites and Positano in the Amalfi coast.
The Netherlands
Nederland in Dutch and incorrectly called Holland is an unique country, densely populated with majority of land at or below sea level. Once a major naval power and part of the holy Roman Empire, it had several colonies in the current Americas in the 19th century. Currently a constitutional monarchy, The Kingdom of Netherlands boasts an incredibly tolerant society, especially around the capital, Amsterdam.
Belgium
Sitting at the helm of world politics, headquarters of EU and NATO, holding a rich heritage of renaissance architecture and home of a cosmopolitan population, Belgium is a relatively small country with a lot to offer. We begin by covering the capital city, Brussels.
